Weibing nicméně rovněž zmínil, že tento smartphone je teprve v rané fázi výzkumu a vývoje.Poskytnout smartphonu Redmi K30 propojení s 5G znamená, že doposud snadno cenově dostupná značka od Xiaomi se přidá k 5G závodu mezi různými společnostmi.
